- Days: Monday through Friday
- Time: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Note: To allow sufficient time for inspections, keys cannot be handed out after 3:20 PM.
Inspection Guidelines
- No Test Drives: Vehicles cannot be driven, but keys will be provided for inspection.
- Keys:
- A maximum of three sets of keys can be checked out at one time.
- Once the initial set is returned, additional keys can be issued.
- What You Can Do:
- Start the engine.
- Shift the vehicle into gear (while stationary).
- Open the hood and inspect the engine.
- Run diagnostic codes using a code reader (code readers available upon request).
- Important: Vehicles must remain stationary at all times.
Lot Rules
- Children: No individuals under the age of 16 are allowed in the lot.
- Personal Vehicles: For safety and convenience, personal vehicles are not permitted in the lot.

Late Payment Fees at Twin Cities Auction (Per Vehicle, Business Days)
When you purchase a vehicle, we provide a grace period to complete your payment. Below is a detailed breakdown of our late payment fees:
- First 3 Business Days: No late payment fees (Grace period).
- Day 4: $25 late fee applies. (Vehicles are automatically relisted on Day 4. If sold, a relisting fee must be paid to reopen your account.)
- Day 5: Additional $25 is charged, totaling $50.
- Day 6: Fee increases by $35, totaling $85.
- Day 7: Another $35 is added, bringing the total to $115.
- After Day 7: The vehicle is no longer available for purchase. Reactivating your account requires a relisting fee.
Twin Cities Auction Storage Fees (Business Days)
If you can’t pick up your vehicle right away, we provide a three-day free storage period. Beyond this, storage fees are applied as follows:
- First 3 Business Days: No storage fees (Free storage period).
- Day 4: Storage begins at $10/day.
- Day 5: Fees increase to $15/day, totaling $25.
- Day 6: A fee of $20/day, bringing the total to $45.
- Day 7: Storage costs increase to $25/day, totaling $70.
- Day 8: Another $25/day is added, totaling $95.
- Day 9: Fee reaches $120, with $25/day continuing.
- Day 10 & Beyond: Fees rise to $35/day for every additional day.
Important Policy: Vehicles left on our lot for over 90 days are subject to sale, as Twin Cities Auction reserves the right to sell vehicles stored for extended periods.

Minnesota buyers will receive their titles within 1-3 months. Out-of-state buyers and dealers will receive their titles within 31 days.

Can I get my vehicle shipped to me?

How long before my vehicle is transported to me?
Transport times vary. For the Twin Cities area, it’s typically 1-5 business days; outside the area, expect 1-7 business days. Transporters will contact you once ready.
Where do auction vehicles come from?
We source vehicles nationwide from donations, public sellers, and consignments.
Can I test drive a car?
Currently, we do not offer in-person test drives. We recommend thorough vehicle inspection and viewing our virtual test drives.
Can you provide me with more information about a vehicle listed on the auctions?
All available vehicle information is provided within the vehicle listing. We do, however, offer complimentary vehicle history reports. You are also welcome to inspect the vehicles in-person. We have code-readers available to borrow during inspections as well.
Can I get a History Report of a vehicle?

Only one set of keys?
Keys shown in auction photos are the keys available. We’ll always ensure you receive the keys pictured.
