FAQs
How can I sell my car?
1) Prepare your title – Sign as the seller on the front to prepare it for the new buyer.
2) Drop Off Your Vehicle and Title – No need to make an appointment, just put the keys in our after-hours dropbox and scan the QR Code to fill out our dropoff form (or click here).
3) Set your price: Enter your “Buy Now” price and the Reserve OR go NO RESERVE to get the most attention.

Do I need a license to bid on the auction?
Our platform is open to anyone and everyone, including the general public and businesses! All you need is a valid, government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport. For licensed dealers, dealer licenses are also necessary.
Can I remove a bid after its placed?
No, Once a bid is placed, all bids are binding and cannot be retracted. That means if you accidentally place a bid and end up winning, you’re contractually obligated to pay. We encourage all our users to double-check before placing a bid to avoid any mishaps during the auction.
Can I test drive a cars?
No, at this time, we do not offer in-person test drives. However, we encourage you to conduct a thorough Condition Reports and check out our virtual test drive videos for a closer look.
When will I receive the title for the vehicle I purchased?
The processing time for titles can vary based on the type of transaction and location. For Minnesota buyers, it typically takes 1-3 months to receive the title from the State.
For Non-Minnesota buyers and dealers, the title is normally processed within 31 days.

Can I get my vehicle Delivered? How Long does it take?
Every vehicle has our Hassle-Free Delivery Quote attached to it for your reference.
Transport times vary depending on your location. For the Twin Cities area, delivery typically takes 1-5 business days, while shipments outside the area may take 1-7 business days.
Our Drivers reach out to you when they are on their way for delivery.
Can I inspect vehicles before paying for it?
Vehicle inspections are only permitted while the auction is live.
Once the auction has ended and the vehicle has been won, inspections are no longer allowed unless the vehicle has been paid for.
However, you are welcome to inspect or view the vehicle before placing a bid.
Can I get a warranty to protect my vehicle?
Yes! Customize your warranty package starting from $399 with coverage from 3 months/3,000 miles up to 5 years/Unlimited miles.

What forms of payment are accepted from the online auto auction?
We accept the below payment methods, and you can use up to two methods for each vehicle purchase:
Cash (for amounts under $500), Credit/Debit Cards (For a purchase price totaling $5,000 or more, a 3% fee will be applied to any amount charged on the card.), Venmo, CashApp, Wire Transfer, Cashier’s Check (payable to Twin Cities Auctions)

What are the fees when buying a vehicle from an online auction?
The fees include the buyer’s premium, an administrative fee, and any applicable DMV charges. For more detailed information about the buyer’s premium and other related fees, please refer to our Pricing Page.
